Sahaja Yoga Meditation
Invitation to free Meditation
The importance of meditating every day Our attention is always being captured and sold an apparent importance. All the importances take our attention on the outside. Attention on our house, jobs, relationships, projects we are involved with, and in thoughts of things we need to do are all part of daily life. Our day to day lives add weight to us which is either on our emotional side (left) or on our active and rational side (right). Our attention actually needs to detach from these and make a clear ascent upwards, evolving our general perception. Correct meditation brings the attention to rest on the crown of ourselves, the Sahasrara Chakra. In doing so by the correct method (Sahaja Yoga) an energy known as the Kundalini rises through our central channel. When raised, it opens this crown and passes through the area of our mind that is forever planning, reacting and assessing our daily world. These concerns simply stop. But it is more. A sense of peace and silence flowers out at our crown. We can even place our palms above our crown a few inches away and we can feel a very subtle, soft, cool energy flowing out. It is a like a cool magnetism, a sacred wind that blows through us like the sap of a tree. This energy that until then is coiled 3 and a half times and located at the sacrum bone nourishes our 7 core centres known as chakras. Practising this balances us and connects our attention within to our own sacred space where no one else can enter. This is called the union with the self, or Self-Realisation. Yoga; meaning Union and, Sahaja; meaning Born With. I first had my Kundalini raised in 1998 but must confess to not consistently following sustained meditation attendance for this period. This experience is free and everyone's birth right to feel ad react for themselves every day. As the world is pulled more out of balance the need to meditate every day increases If you want to make this experience your own, let me know and I will point you in the right direction Daniel - d.glasheen@gmail.com www.sahajayoga.org.uk |
